With the environment in mind, this kitchen renovation received what is known in the industry as a Refacing. The original cabinets were left in place and new doors were crafted. The old floor tile was left in place and floated with concrete and topped with vinyl plank. These steps kept a lot of material out of the landfill.

The new cabinet doors are crafted of High Pressure Laminate HPL, they are extremely durable, easy to keep clean and offer a contemporary matte finish.

Contemporary kitchen design

Working with a muted colour palette involves playing with textures so the space has visual interest and cohesion. The warm grey tiles have imperfect edges and crackled glass, which is in contrast to the crisp clean lines of the cabinet fronts. The countertops have a luxurious look of basalt.

The kitchen faucet is powder coated in a soft grey, offsetting the stark contrast of the stainless steel sink.

A dishwasher was replaced with a multifunction recycling pullout, housing bins for food scraps, paper, cans and trash

Paul was visioning the project like it would have been its own. Looking at the best quality/aesthetic/convenience with a budget that would have been his own
Without any hesitation we will count on him in the future to re invent or revisit details of a project and to accomplish it.
